Summary

Andersen is hiring a ServiceNow Developer in Europe for a project enhancing Security Operations, automating security workflows, and improving vulnerability management and compliance.

The customer is an international consultancy providing specialized recruitment and workforce solutions to organizations across multiple industries. The project is focused on implementing and enhancing ServiceNow Security Operations capabilities, including Unified Security Event Management (USEM) and Vulnerability Management. It aims to strengthen security monitoring, configuration compliance, and system hardening through workflow automation, platform customization, and integrations with external security and compliance systems.

Responsibilities

• Configuring and customizing ServiceNow Vulnerability Management / USEM components.
• Developing and implementing technical solutions based on business and security requirements.
• Building and maintaining Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer workflows.
• Configuring dashboards, reports, and automation capabilities.
• Designing and implementing integrations with security and compliance tools.
• Supporting testing, defect resolution, deployment activities, and technical documentation.
• Collaborating with architects, product owners, and security stakeholders.
• Participating in knowledge transfer and handover activities.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience for 3+ years.
• Proficiency in JavaScript within the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
• Experience with REST and SOAP integrations.
• Experience working in Agile project environments.
• Ability to independently implement developer user stories without extensive supervision.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow workflows and automation.
• Level of English – Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Vulnerability Response (CIS-VR).
• Experience with Qualys, Microsoft Azure CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management), and Cribl.
• Experience with ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps).
• Experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response / Vulnerability Management.
• Understanding of Configuration Compliance and Hardening processes.
• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, including Configuration Items (CIs) and CI Relationships.
• Experience with MID Server integrations.
• Understanding of ServiceNow USEM architecture.
