Summary

Andersen is hiring a Solution Architect in Abu Dhabi for a project delivering digital transformation solutions and enhancing public services and citizen engagement.

The customer is a public-sector organization responsible for advancing digital innovation and modernizing services across multiple domains. It supports strategic initiatives in emerging technologies, collaborates with industry and research partners, and develops long-term technology frameworks for improving operational efficiency and service accessibility. The organization focuses on secure, scalable, and sustainable digital development to drive continuous improvement within the broader ecosystem.

The project is focused on delivering cross-initiative digital transformation solutions in Abu Dhabi, with a current emphasis on a citizen affairs case management platform. It enables end-to-end management of citizen requests and supports the development of digital solutions aimed at improving social services, public engagement, and administrative efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Defining the overall architecture covering .NET, React, React Native, Spring Boot, Flowable and Oracle.
• Designing application, API, integration and workflow architecture.
• Defining integration patterns for Avaya Call Center, Firebird SMS and M-Files.
• Designing on-premises deployment architecture with Infrastructure, DevOps, DBA and Security teams.
• Defining SSO/IAM, RBAC, encryption, audit, performance, high availability, backup and DR requirements.
• Establishing coding standards, architecture principles and development guidelines.
• Leading technical decisions, design reviews and critical code reviews across Agile sprints.
• Coordinating with the AI Solution Architect on secure on-premises AI integration.
• Supporting production readiness, troubleshooting and go-live.

Requirements

• Experience in enterprise application development, solution architecture, and large-scale software delivery for 10+ years.
• Strong experience designing and governing end-to-end enterprise solutions, including scalability, security, integration, and performance considerations.
• Expert-level experience with .NET enterprise applications and backend architectures.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, enterprise APIs, and integration platforms.
• Strong experience with React, React Native, and modern application architectures.
• Advanced experience with Oracle databases and enterprise data architecture.
• Experience with Flowable or similar BPM/workflow platforms.
• Extensive experience designing API, integration, workflow, and distributed system architectures.
• Hands-on experience defining and implementing enterprise integration patterns and REST-based services.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise security architecture, including SSO/IAM, RBAC, encryption, audit logging, and VAPT remediation.
• Experience designing High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), backup, and performance architectures.
• Experience with on-premises enterprise environments, CI/CD, release governance, and production operations.
• Proven experience serving as technical design authority across multiple technology domains and delivery teams.
• Experience leading technical decisions, architecture reviews, design reviews, and critical code reviews within Agile environments.
• Experience mentoring and guiding backend, frontend, mobile, and integration engineering teams.
• Experience supporting production readiness, go-live activities, troubleshooting, and platform stabilization.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
