Container Platform Engineer (Germany)

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Container Platform Engineer with German for a project supporting secure, highly available IT infrastructure and ensuring reliable platform operations.

The project is focused on providing operational support and maintaining a stable, secure, and highly available IT infrastructure. It covers servers, operating systems, storage, core network components, backup solutions, and directory services to ensure reliable performance and continuity of critical IT services.

Responsibilities

• Administrating and operating container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker).
• Implementing and maintaining deployment and orchestration processes.
• Fault analysis, incident, and change management during ongoing operations.
• Monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
• Integrating CI/CD pipelines into existing operational processes.
• Executing updates, upgrades, and configuration adjustments per defined procedures.
• Implementing security and compliance requirements.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation.

Requirements

• Experience operating and administering container platforms for 4+ years.
• Willingness to undergo SÜ1/SÜ2 if requested.
• Proven experience in administration and operation of container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker).
• Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining deployment and orchestration processes.
• Solid skills in fault analysis, incidents, and change management during ongoing operations.
• Practical experience with monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate CI/CD pipelines into existing operational processes.
• Experience executing updates, upgrades, and configuration adjustments according to defined procedures.
• Ability to implement security and compliance requirements.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with SUSE Rancher, Tekton, Kasten K10, Istio, and Cloud Foundry.
