Andersen is hiring a Flutter Developer in Almaty for a project enhancing banking self-service kiosks and delivering secure, user-friendly digital card solutions.

The customer is a large financial institution serving millions of retail and corporate clients. It combines a broad physical presence with strong investment in digital platforms, mobile solutions, data infrastructure, cybersecurity, and open integrations. Technology is central to improving customer experience and scaling modern banking services.

The project is focused on enhancing the functionality of self-service card kiosks by improving debit card issuance, customer self-service capabilities, and related banking processes. It aims to provide a secure, efficient, and user-friendly experience for bank customers.

Responsibilities

• Developing cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter, leveraging RxDart for reactive programming and asynchronous data stream management.
• Building interactive user interfaces and custom animations with high performance (60/120 FPS).
• Designing application architecture and implementing state management using BLoC and Provider patterns.
• Integrating REST APIs, performing JSON parsing and serialization, and handling network errors and request timeouts.
• Optimizing network requests by implementing caching, pagination, and efficient local data management.
• Developing native Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) modules when required.
• Designing, developing, testing, releasing, and maintaining applications throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Configuring build automation and managing application versioning.
• Participating in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews/demo sessions.
• Writing unit, widget, and integration tests to ensure code quality, stability, and reliability.
• Developing and maintaining end-to-end (E2E) tests using Flutter Driver or Appium.
• Sharing knowledge with the team, conducting code reviews, mentoring colleagues, and supporting the onboarding of new team members.
• Configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Codemagic and GitHub Actions.
• Working with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Crashlytics) for backend services, analytics, and crash monitoring.
• Profiling application performance, optimizing app startup time, and reducing build size.
• Collaborating effectively with designers, product managers, and backend developers to clarify requirements and break down tasks into deliverable work items.

Requirements

• Experience as a Flutter Developer for 2+ years.
• Strong ability to develop interactive user interfaces and high-performance animations.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON.
• Ability to optimize network requests and efficiently manage application data.
• Solid knowledge of BLoC and Provider state management patterns.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, releasing, and maintaining mobile applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with build automation and application version management.
• Knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodologies, with experience participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Experience writing unit, widget, and integration tests in Flutter.
• Familiarity with quality assurance and end-to-end testing tools such as Flutter Driver and Appium.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines for Flutter applications (e.g., Codemagic, GitHub Actions).
• Experience working with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Crashlytics).
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Hands-on experience with native Android development (Java/Kotlin) and iOS development (Swift/Objective-C).
