System Analyst in Almaty

Summary

Andersen is hiring a System Analyst in Almaty for a project enhancing banking self-service kiosks and delivering secure, scalable digital solutions for card services.

The customer is a large financial institution serving millions of retail and corporate clients. It combines a broad physical presence with strong investment in digital platforms, mobile solutions, data infrastructure, cybersecurity, and open integrations. Technology is central to improving customer experience and scaling modern banking services.

The project is focused on enhancing debit card self-service kiosks by expanding their functionality and improving card issuance and management processes. It aims to deliver a seamless, secure, and efficient self-service experience for banking customers.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements.
• Designing functional and technical solutions and preparing technical documentation.
• Documenting business processes, data models, and system integrations using UML, BPMN, REST APIs, and SOAP.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, QA engineers, and solution architects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Analyzing data using SQL and participating in the design of integration solutions.
• Preparing functional specifications for development, supporting implementation, and participating in functional testing.
• Working in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and requirements analysis.

Requirements

• Having experience as a System Analyst and/or Business Analyst for 2+ years.
• Working with SQL and/or APIs.
• Applying Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and other software development methodologies.
• Working with SOAP, Microservices, BPMN, and UML.
• Having experience with programming fundamentals using Python, Java, and JavaScript.
• Working with message brokers such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Writing tests and using version control systems, including Git.
• English level – Intermediate and above.
