DevOps Engineer (Baku, Azerbaijan)

Summary

Andersen is hiring a DevOps Engineer in Baku for a project developing a scalable online sales platform and delivering reliable cloud infrastructure for modern digital commerce.

The customer is a technology provider delivering digital infrastructure, connectivity, and business solutions for corporate and individual customers. It focuses on innovation, cloud and network services, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives. The project is focused on developing an online sales platform that enables seamless digital commerce and efficient order management. It aims to deliver a scalable, reliable, and user-friendly solution that enhances the customer purchasing experience.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for enterprise and telecom applications.
• Automating deployment, configuration, and infrastructure processes.
• Managing Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux environments.
• Ensuring the availability, scalability, and stability of production services.
• Implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and backup processes.
• Investigating and resolving infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, network, and security teams.
• Maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Strong practical experience as a DevOps Engineer for 3+ years.
• Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar monitoring tools.
• Bash and/or Python scripting skills.
• Good understanding of networking, security, and high-availability systems.
• Experience supporting business-critical production environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Level of English – from Intermediate.
