Banking Business Analyst in Tashkent

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Banking Business Analyst in Tashkent for a project developing an automated corporate lending platform, optimizing credit risk assessment, and streamlining loan approval processes.

Our customer is a large international technology organization operating in the digital infrastructure domain. It develops and maintains high-load platforms that process and manage significant volumes of data across multiple regions. The engineering landscape includes distributed systems, cloud-based environments, system integrations, and advanced security practices, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and continuous platform evolution.

The project is focused on developing an automated corporate lending platform for businesses and individual entrepreneurs. It includes implementing ML-based credit scoring, predictive analytics, and a decision engine while optimizing underwriting processes to improve credit risk assessment, accelerate loan approvals, and enhance lending efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Describing loan origination, underwriting, and credit scoring processes.

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Analyst for 5+ years.
• Experience in corporate lending to legal entities and sole proprietors: analyzing existing processes, identifying gaps, manual operations, and duplication, and reviewing the customer journey.
• Documenting AS-IS and TO-BE processes (BPMN), defining functional and non-functional requirements.
• Understanding of underwriting processes and how credit scoring is integrated into the lending workflow.
• Collaboration with Risk Management and IT teams, including solution validation and acceptance testing.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Experience in implementing an end-to-end loan origination system from scratch.
