AI Engineer

Summary

Andersen is hiring an AI Engineer for a project developing enterprise AI solutions and accelerating Generative AI adoption through scalable automation and intelligent services.

The customer is a technology-oriented service provider offering a range of digital, connectivity, and business solutions to both individual and organizational clients. Its activities include communication services, digital platforms, infrastructure solutions, and technology-enabled services designed to support everyday needs and business operations.

The project is focused on expanding enterprise AI and data capabilities to accelerate Generative AI adoption across a telecommunications organization. It includes developing AI copilots, intelligent search, document intelligence, and agent-based automation while ensuring secure, scalable, production-ready implementation and measurable business value.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing GenAI solutions using Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI Service.
• Building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) platforms and AI copilots.
• Developing agentic AI workflows and autonomous AI assistants.
• Implementing document intelligence and enterprising knowledge management solutions.
• Building and optimizing vector search, embeddings, retrieval pipelines and re-ranking mechanisms.
• Integrating AI capabilities with enterprise data platforms and business systems.
• Creating production-grade evaluation, monitoring and observability frameworks for AI solutions.
• Implementing LLMOps and MLOps practices using Azure-native tooling.
• Ensuring compliance with security, privacy, governance and data residency requirements.
• Collaborating with business teams to identify AI opportunities and deliver PoCs and production solutions.
• Optimizing AI workloads for quality, latency and cost efficiency.
• Supporting deployment and operation of AI solutions in enterprise environments.

Requirements

• Experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, or related field for 4+ years.
• At least 1.5-2 years of hands-on production experience with LLM and Generative AI solutions.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI Service.
• Experience building RAG solutions in production.
• Experience with embeddings, vector search, hybrid search and retrieval optimization.
• Knowledge of LangChain, Semantic Kernel or similar AI frameworks.
• Experience with Azure AI Search.
• Understanding of AI evaluation frameworks, guardrails and observability.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise data platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure networking and security concepts.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Docker experience.
• Git-based development workflows.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
