Frontend UI Engineer (with German)

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Frontend UI Engineer with German for a project developing modern, responsive interfaces and delivering consistent, user-friendly digital experiences.

Our customer is a large infrastructure organization focused on operating and enhancing complex, business-critical systems. The company invests in digital technologies, automation, and data-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and decision-making across large-scale processes. The project is focused on developing, optimizing, and maintaining modern user interfaces based on provided design specifications and mockups. It aims to deliver responsive, high-quality, and user-friendly digital experiences while ensuring consistent implementation across the application.

Responsibilities

• Developing, optimizing, and maintaining responsive, accessible web pages and applications based on design specifications and mockups.
• Transforming static designs into interactive user interfaces and building reusable, modular components aligned with design system guidelines.
• Implementing and maintaining component-based architectures using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Integrating frontend components with backend APIs and third-party services for dynamic data rendering.
• Ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility and resolving UI inconsistencies.
• Ensuring compliance with WCAG and web accessibility standards.
• Optimizing frontend performance, including load times, rendering, resource usage, and caching.
• Managing client-side state using libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or MobX.
• Coordinating usability testing, debugging, and resolution of UI issues with Software Engineering teams.
• Preparing and maintaining technical documentation for UI components and workflows.

Requirements

• Experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field for 2+ years.
• Hands-on experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with client-side state management using Redux, Zustand, MobX, or similar libraries.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, reusable component development, and responsive web applications.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering.
