UI Designer (with German)

Summary

Andersen is hiring a UI Designer with German for a project designing accessible digital interfaces and enhancing a scalable design system for a consistent user experience.

Our customer is a large infrastructure organization focused on operating and enhancing complex, business-critical systems. The project is focused on designing and maintaining consistent, accessible, and user-friendly digital interfaces based on the Nova Design System. It includes creating UI components, high-fidelity prototypes, design specifications, and style guides, as well as continuously enhancing the design system to ensure a consistent user experience across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Designing UI components in alignment with the Nova Design System Library.
• Creating high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes for stakeholder validation.
• Defining design specifications for colors, typography, spacing, and component usage.
• Preparing and maintaining UI style guides to ensure consistent implementation across platforms.
• Updating and evolving Nova Design System components, including new patterns and refinements.
• Preparing accessibility reports and validating compliance with usability and accessibility standards.

Requirements

• Experience in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or related fields for 2+ years.
• Professional certifications in UI Design, Graphic Design, UX, or Design Thinking (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification, UX Research Academy or equivalent).
• Training in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Design, or a related field.
