Andersen is hiring a QA Engineer (Kazakhstan) to ensure software quality, testing efficiency, and reliable product delivery across international digital projects in multiple industries.

The project is focused on developing and enhancing digital banking solutions for a leading financial institution, improving online services, customer experience, and secure financial operations for business and retail clients.

Responsibilities

• Performing functional, regression, and exploratory testing of a corporate banking system.
• Analyzing requirements and assessing product quality risks.
• Creating and maintaining test documentation, including test cases, checklists, and test scenarios.
• Testing web and mobile applications, as well as REST APIs.
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through to resolution.
• Verifying implemented changes and ensuring the quality of new releases.
• Working with databases, logs, and diagnostic tools to investigate the root causes of defects.
• Collaborating with business analysts, developers, and business stakeholders throughout the release process.

Requirements

• Experience in QA (Manual) for 3+ years.
• Having hands-on experience in testing web and mobile applications.
• Having experience working with banking systems or digital banking solutions.
• Demonstrating a solid understanding of testing processes, including smoke, regression, functional, exploratory, UAT, and Shift-Left testing.
• Applying test design techniques, including equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision tables, pairwise testing, and state transition testing.
• Creating and maintaining test documentation, including test cases, checklists, test scenarios, and bug reports.
• Working confidently with SQL, including CRUD operations, JOINs, and aggregate functions, with a solid understanding of relational databases.
• Testing REST APIs using Postman and SoapUI, including working with collections, environments, and variables.
• Understanding client-server architecture, HTTP, request structure, and HTTP response status codes.
• Working with Jira, Confluence, and Test Management Systems (TMS), with a basic understanding of Git and log analysis using Kibana, Graylog, and browser DevTools.
• English level – from Intermediate and above.
