Andersen is hiring a Frontend Developer (Angular) in the EU for a project developing a modern digital insurance platform and delivering scalable, user-friendly solutions.
The customer is a large international organization operating in the insurance and risk protection domain, providing a wide range of services for both individual and corporate clients. The customer has a strong global presence, delivers diversified insurance solutions across multiple lines of business, and is known for its mature operational model, financial stability, and well-established expertise in service delivery and claims management.
The project is focused on developing and enhancing a modern digital insurance platform that supports the full lifecycle of insurance products, from quoting and policy issuance to payments, renewals, and claims. The API-driven ecosystem provides scalable, secure, and reusable services for seamless integration across web, mobile, and partner channels.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining Angular micro-frontends within an Nx monorepo using Module Federation (Native Federation / esbuild).
- Implementing config-driven UI rendering – field definitions, visibility rules, and screen layouts driven by backend schema.
- Developing shared component libraries consumed across five independent product teams.
- Integrating MSAL authentication, Angular HTTP interceptors, and JWT-based API calls.
- Implementing form engine patterns – dynamic field rendering, conditional visibility via ZEN expression evaluation, prefill and validation.
- Collaborating with UX and domain teams to translate design tokens into accessible, production-grade Angular components.
- Enforcing OnPush change detection, Angular Signals, and performance best practices across remotes.
- Writing unit and integration tests; maintaining coverage gates.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Angular (v14+) for 4+ years, with Angular 17+ preferred.
- Experience with Angular 17+.
- Strong experience with Nx monorepos, including project boundaries, library ownership, path aliases, and build targets.
- Hands-on experience with Module Federation, including remote/host configuration, shared dependencies, and runtime integration.
- Advanced TypeScript skills, including strict mode, generics, and type narrowing.
- Experience with state management using NgRx Signals or @ngrx/signals.
- Strong understanding of authentication, OIDC Authorization Code Flow with PKCE, and Bearer token interceptors.
- Experience with design systems and Tailwind CSS, including component tokens and OKLCH colors.
- Strong testing experience with Jest, Angular TestBed, and component harnesses.
- Level of English – Intermediate+ and above.
Desired skills
- Experience working with MSAL Angular.
- Experience with Spartan NG Brain, Angular CDK, or similar headless component patterns.
- Experience integrating AG Grid Community.
- Familiarity with Foblex Flow (@foblex/flow) or React Flow for graph-based interfaces.
- Experience with GoRules ZEN Engine (@gorules/zen-engine-wasm) and in-browser JDM decision table evaluation.
- Experience with Angular i18n ($localize) and locale-aware build pipelines.
- Basic Podman CLI skills for building and running production Angular containers locally.
