Pre-sale Project Manager

Summary

The IT company Andersen invites a Pre-sale Project Manager to join the team.

Responsibilities

– Analyzing tender documentation (RFP, RFQ, RFI, etc.) and defining participation strategy.

– Conducting Go / No-Go analysis together with Sales, Delivery, and Management teams.

– Full ownership of the tender from start to submission: controlling deadlines and checkpoints, coordinating all participants (Sales, Delivery, Tech team).

– Structuring and preparing commercial proposals, technical solution descriptions, methodology, work plan, timelines, and risks.

– Gathering, consolidating, and proofreading materials from various stakeholders into a single, logical, and consistent document.

– Ensuring compliance with tender requirements (compliance check, compliance matrix).

– Managing client questions (Q&A phase).

– Preparing cover letters, executive summaries, and value propositions.

– Ensuring visual and storytelling quality of proposals (structure, logic, readability).

– Supporting proposal defense (clarifications, BAFO, negotiations — if required).

– Maintaining a knowledge base of tenders, templates, best practices, and lessons learned.

– Analyzing lost and won tenders and providing recommendations to improve win rate.

Requirements

– 1+ year of experience as a Tender Manager / Bid Manager / Presales Manager / Proposal Manager.

– Understanding of IT outsourcing and consulting (SDLC, delivery models, pricing models).

– Experience in large and complex tenders (enterprise, multi-stream, multi-vendor).

– Ability to read and interpret complex RFP, TOR, and contract documents.

– Experience preparing Technical Proposals, Commercial Proposals, Methodology & Delivery Approach.

– Understanding of contract models: T&M, Fixed Price, Dedicated Team, Hybrid.

– Basic understanding of IT solution architecture, delivery team roles, risk and dependency assessment.

– Experience with compliance matrices and checklists.

– Strong communication and facilitation skills.

– Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.

– High level of responsibility and attention to detail.

– Stress resistance and ability to work under tight deadlines.

– Structured thinking and systematic approach.

– Prioritization and time management skills.

– Ability to write in clear, business-oriented, and client-friendly language.

– English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

Desired skills

– Experience with international tenders (EU, UK, Middle East, Global)

– Experience communicating with clients and partners.
