Integration Architect with German

Summary

Andersen is hiring an Integration Architect with German for a project designing scalable integration solutions and ensuring reliable, high-performance enterprise IT infrastructure.

Our customer is an established technology services provider specializing in the development and operation of complex IT environments. Its portfolio includes cloud and infrastructure solutions, cybersecurity, data-driven technologies, application services, and digital transformation, helping organizations modernize their technology landscape and improve operational efficiency. The company works with customers across multiple industries, delivering scalable and reliable solutions tailored to evolving business and technology requirements.

The project is focused on supporting and maintaining a reliable, high-performance, and highly available IT infrastructure. It covers servers, operating systems, storage, network components, backup solutions, and directory services to ensure stable operation and continuity of critical IT services.

Responsibilities

• Creating, further developing, and optimizing integration and interface architectures.
• Aligning integration concepts with application, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Supporting the planning and execution of migrations, modernizations, and system consolidations.
• Documenting and communicating architecture decisions and integration strategies.
• Ensuring compliance with security, data protection, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in integration and middleware solutions for 6+ years.
• Experience in evaluating, optimizing, and developing existing integration architectures and interface solutions — several years.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a comparable technical field, OR relevant IT vocational training.
• Willingness to undergo SÜ1/SÜ2 security clearance, if required.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• API management (Kong), service meshes (Istio), experience with large-scale integration migrations.
