Solution Engineer in the EU

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Solution Engineer in the EU for a project developing Salesforce-based business solutions and delivering scalable applications, integrations, and workflow automation.

The customer is a large organization with complex operations and a strong focus on technology, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability. The organization is investing in digital transformation, cybersecurity, and process improvement to enhance efficiency, resilience, and business performance while supporting its evolving strategic objectives.

The project is focused on developing and enhancing Salesforce-based business solutions through custom application development, workflow automation, and system integrations. It aims to extend the Salesforce platform with scalable, reliable functionality while addressing complex business requirements in a multi-vendor environment.

Responsibilities

• Extending Salesforce platform functionality beyond standard capabilities.
• Designing and implementing custom applications and automation workflows.
• Developing integrations between Salesforce and external systems using Apex and Visualforce.
• Adapting and optimizing Salesforce for complex business processes.
• Troubleshooting and resolving advanced technical issues.
• Collaborating with multiple vendors in a shared delivery environment.
• Using modern development tools (VS Code, GitHub) for version control and deployment.

Requirements

• Expertise in Salesforce platform development and customization for 2+ years.
• Proven ability to extend platform functionality beyond standard features.
• Hands-on experience with Apex and Visualforce.
• Skilled in designing custom applications and automation workflows.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external and third-party systems.
• Ability to adapt solutions to complex business processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with focus on complex technical issues.
• Experience working in multi-vendor and collaborative environments.
• Familiarity with modern development tools (VS Code, GitHub, Salesforce CLI).
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate or above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate or above.
