DevOps Engineer (Platform Team) in Poland

Andersen is hiring a DevOps Engineer (Platform Team) in Poland for a project modernizing cloud infrastructure and building scalable platform engineering solutions for data-driven services.

The project is focused on modernizing the cloud platform that powers a global TV technology and audience analytics ecosystem. It includes enhancing Kubernetes environments, improving platform engineering capabilities, and evolving cloud infrastructure, observability, and deployment processes to support scalable internal application platforms.

Responsibilities

• Designing, migrating, and modernizing Kubernetes manifests to align with centralized internal tooling and ArgoCD architecture.
• Leading the upgrade and maintenance of core platform components to ensure system stability and performance (e.g. cert-manager, external-dns, Kyverno, etc.).
• Proactively identifying and close monitoring and alerting gaps to enhance platform observability (Victoria metrics/logs and Grafana).
• Providing expert engineering support for the continuous upkeep and progressive expansion of application platforms.
• Resolving engineering operational tickets, ensuring timely support for internal teams.
• Delivering validated, integrated pull requests accompanied by comprehensive testing that meets company standards.
• Maintaining rigorous documentation and concise technical summaries for all resolved tickets and implemented changes.
• Ensuring all rollouts to development environments adhere to strict schema and volume requirements.

Requirements

• Experience In Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure for 5+ years.
• Hands-on production experience with AWS (preferred) and/or GCP
• Strong commercial experience with large-scale Kubernetes clusters (10k+ vCPU)
• Strong Python coding skills and commercial experience as a software engineer
• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience with ArgoCD or GitOps-based deployment approaches
• Experience operating and supporting production cloud infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD, build, and deployment automation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with API-first service design.
