Andersen is hiring an Android Developer for a project developing a scalable vehicle branding platform and delivering modern mobile solutions for business process automation.

The customer is a global investment management firm providing tailored investment solutions to institutional and private clients. It combines financial expertise with long-term investment strategies to help clients achieve their objectives while adapting to changing market conditions. The organization focuses on innovation, responsible investing, and operational excellence, continuously enhancing its capabilities to deliver sustainable value and support long-term growth.

The project is focused on developing an end-to-end vehicle branding management platform. It automates branding agency coordination, driver verification, compliance checks, payment tracking, and vehicle/driver classification workflows across the full branding lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining Android application features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on feature design, system architecture, and A/B experiments.
• Participating in agile practices: sprint planning, task decomposition, and demos.
• Identifying and fixing bugs, performance bottlenecks, offline storage, and threading issues using Android Studio Profilers and network-debugging tools (e.g., Charles, Proxyman, Network Inspector).
• Ensuring code quality through unit testing and pull-request practices that meet community-defined coding standards.
• Considering Google Play developer policies and requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• Commercial Android application development for 2+ years.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and modern Android APIs: Retrofit/OkHttp, Coroutines/Flow, Jetpack (Compose, WorkManager), DataStore.
• Experience with offline storage and multithreading/modern concurrency (Coroutines).
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, experience with network debugging.
• Understanding of Clean Architecture and common patterns (MVVM/MVI) with the ability to apply them in practice.
• Basic knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals.
• Git proficiency (branches, PRs, responding to code reviews).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Gradle) and code quality tooling (ktlint, Detekt).
• Ability to write maintainable, testable code with solid unit test coverage.
• Familiarity with Google Play's developer policies and mobile delivery lifecycle.
• Experience with collaboration tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with design handoff tools (Figma).
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ or above.

Desired skills

• Experience working with design systems and component libraries in Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with feature flags and A/B experimentation frameworks.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate coding and testing workflows.
