Andersen is hiring a Helpdesk / SysOps / System Administrator to support enterprise IT infrastructure, ensure reliable system operations, and provide technical support across global projects.

Responsibilities

  • Providing L1/L2 technical support for end users, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows/Linux workstations and servers.
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or similar environments.
  • Monitoring system performance, availability, and security, responding to incidents and alerts.
  • Supporting network infrastructure, VPN connectivity, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Troubleshooting operating systems, applications, and infrastructure components.
  • Performing system updates, patching, backups, and recovery procedures.
  • Maintaining technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Helpdesk Engineer, System Administrator, SysOps Engineer, or in a similar role for 2+ years.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux administration.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and user access management.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and operating system issues.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, and basic network administration.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, or similar).
  • Experience with monitoring, backup, and system maintenance tools.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages for task automation.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer support skills.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate or above.

Desired skills

  • Knowledge of German.
