ML Engineer

Summary

Andersen is hiring an ML Engineer for a project developing AI infrastructure, intelligent automation, and scalable machine learning solutions for a quality intelligence platform.

The customer is a technology-driven software quality services provider that helps organizations improve the reliability, usability, and performance of their digital products. It combines quality engineering expertise, flexible delivery models, and technology-enabled services to support web, mobile, and other digital solutions across multiple industries. The company helps businesses accelerate software delivery, improve product quality, and enhance end-user experience through scalable testing and quality assurance services.

The project is focused on modernizing a quality intelligence platform by expanding its public API capabilities, strengthening security, and enhancing AI infrastructure. It includes building an agent orchestration platform, improving authentication and data protection, modernizing the data architecture, and supporting enterprise-grade compliance and platform reliability.

Responsibilities

• Building the orchestration platform on top of existing AI infrastructure, including GPT models, LiteLLM proxy, LangGraph agentic workflows, and proprietary vector storage.
• Integrating the platform with adjacent AI services, including LLM proxy services, AI agent services, and MCP-based services.
• Designing scalable orchestration workflows to support agent-based AI capabilities and business use cases.
• Implementing evaluation hooks and integration points to support AI quality initiatives, including evaluation pipelines, model migration, and drift detection.

Requirements

• Experience in ML/AI engineering for 3+ years, building reusable AI tooling, platforms, or frameworks rather than only individual models or agents.
• Hands-on experience delivering at least one LLM-powered system in production with real users, including handling failures, retries, token budgets, and output quality measurement.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Production experience with LangGraph or deep experience with LangChain-agents with fast ramp-up.
• Experience with LLM gateway/proxy solutions such as LiteLLM or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience with n8n-class low-code workflow orchestrators.
• Experience with Docker and deploying AI services in containerized environments such as AWS ECS.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Knowledge of vector databases and retrieval systems.
• Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks, quality measurement, and cost optimization.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Ability to read and understand TypeScript code.
