Data / Integration Architect in the EU

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Data / Integration Architect in the EU for a project modernizing OSS systems and designing scalable data and integration architecture for telecom platforms.

Our customer is a telecommunications and digital services provider delivering connectivity and communication solutions for residential, business, and institutional customers. It focuses on providing reliable digital services, expanding its technology capabilities, and continuously improving customer experience through infrastructure development, innovation, and modern communication technologies.

The project is focused on transforming a legacy OSS landscape by defining a future target architecture and technical foundation. It includes modernizing systems for partner order management, field operations, provisioning, monitoring, ticketing, and operational process control to support future platform evolution.

Responsibilities

• Analysing current integration landscape and pain points.
• Defining target integration principles.
• Assessing middleware / service bus options, including potential reuse of group middleware.
• Defining API-led and/or event-driven integration patterns where appropriate.
• Supporting data ownership and master data principles.
• Supporting canonical data model thinking where needed.
• Identifying key data domains and ownership boundaries across OSS/BSS.
• Supporting integration requirements for future tender package.
• Supporting architecture decision log around integration and data.
• Working with OSS Solution Architect on target architecture.
• Working with System Analyst on interface inventory and current-state dependencies.

Requirements

• Strong integration architecture experience for 5+ years.
• Experience with complex enterprise or telecom integration landscapes.
• Understanding of API management, middleware, service bus and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with data ownership, master data management or canonical data models.
• Ability to define pragmatic integration principles, not only theoretical architecture.
• Experience supporting RFP/tender requirements from architecture perspective.
• Telecom OSS/BSS integration experience.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• TM Forum Open APIs knowledge.
• Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Kafka, Azure Integration Services, Apigee, Kong, WSO2, Boomi, Camel or similar.
• Experience with data governance / MDM in telecom or network environments.
