Summary

Andersen is hiring a Credit Risk Manager in Tashkent for a project developing an automated corporate lending platform, improving credit risk assessment, and optimizing loan approval processes.

Our customer is a large international technology organization operating in the digital infrastructure domain. It develops and maintains high-load platforms that process and manage significant volumes of data across multiple regions. The engineering landscape includes distributed systems, cloud-based environments, system integrations, and advanced security practices, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and continuous platform evolution.

The project is focused on developing an automated corporate lending platform for businesses and individual entrepreneurs. It includes implementing ML-based credit scoring, predictive analytics, and a decision engine while optimizing underwriting processes to improve credit risk assessment, accelerate loan approvals, and enhance lending efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing risk management strategies.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining risk scorecards.
• Establishing and overseeing model governance processes, ensuring model performance, compliance, and risk control.

Requirements

• Experience as a Risk Manager for 5+ years.
• Experience in fintech.
• Development of credit policies and risk strategies for the corporate segment, including setting credit limits and cut-off thresholds.
• Credit scorecards and decision-making rules.
• Knowledge of IFRS 9: Expected Credit Loss (ECL), Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD), and Exposure at Default (EAD).
• Model governance: model validation, documentation, and lifecycle management.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• FRM (Financial Risk Manager) certification.
• Knowledge of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan's regulatory requirements and Basel standards.
