Project Manager

Andersen is hiring a Project Manager to lead software development projects, coordinate teams, ensure efficient delivery, and support digital transformation initiatives for international clients.

Responsibilities

• Managing 1–3 software development projects (web, mobile, integrations, ERP/CRM) from kickoff to client handover, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and quality control.
• Organizing project delivery using Agile/Scrum or hybrid methodologies, including backlog management, sprint ceremonies, and release planning.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, providing status updates, conducting demos, managing expectations, and handling escalations.
• Managing risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, maintaining RAID logs, and overseeing change control processes.
• Monitoring project budgets, burn rates, and profitability margins, proactively identifying and reporting deviations.
• Collaborating with Business Analysts, Architects, and Tech Leads on requirements gathering, effort estimation, and technical decision-making.
• Supporting pre-sales activities by contributing to effort estimations, defining implementation approaches, and preparing project plans for proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Leveraging AI tools across all project management processes, including generating status reports, documenting meeting minutes and action items, drafting requirements and user stories, analyzing risks, validating estimates, and managing client communications.

Requirements

• Experience working as a Project Manager for 3+ years.
• Technical background: experience working as a Developer, QA Engineer, Business Analyst, or DevOps Engineer, or a technical degree. You are comfortable discussing architecture, APIs, environments, and CI/CD with the team.
• Experience managing both Time & Material (T&M) and Fixed Price projects, including scope management and change control.
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in daily work, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Atlassian Intelligence, and AI meeting assistants (Granola, Krisp, Otter).
• Experience managing projects using various project management methodologies.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience working in the MENA region (UAE, KSA) with government entities, banks/fintech companies, or large enterprises.
• Proficiency in Arabic.
• Experience implementing ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Salesforce, Dynamics).
• Experience working in the FinTech, Healthcare, or Automotive domains.
• Project Management certifications: PMP or CAPM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner, PSM I/II, or CSM.
• Cloud / AI certifications (a plus): AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), or AI Fundamentals (AI-900).
