Summary

Andersen is hiring a Frontend Developer (Angular) with German for a project modernizing a regulatory software platform and enhancing its digital capabilities and user experience.

Our customer operates at the intersection of environmental services, scientific expertise, and technology, helping organizations address complex operational and sustainability challenges. Its activities include environmental monitoring, research, and data analysis, with a focus on delivering reliable information to support informed decision-making. Modern digital solutions and effective data management practices contribute to improving service quality, accessibility, and operational efficiency.

The project is focused on modernizing and consolidating a custom software platform used by a trade supervisory authority. It includes completing the target system, migrating existing modules, decommissioning redundant systems, and providing ongoing operational support. The project also explores future AI and low-code capabilities while maintaining a secure on-premises infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Developing Angular web interfaces.
• Implementing the ISGA Styleguide (fonts, colours, validations, tab order, GUI specifications) to give a consistent UX.
• Making sure the UI is accessible according to BITV 2.0 / WCAG 2.1 levels A and AA.
• Writing test cases and taking part in the PoC exam.

Requirements

• Commercial Angular development experience with Angular 14 or later, at least 3 years.
• Experience with HTML5 and (S)CSS.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular.
• Experience with UI/UX principles and practices.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards, including BITV 2.0.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Accessibility testing tools and audits (BITV test).
• Upgrading Angular versions.
• Experience with UI test automation (Playwright).
