Frontend Developer (Angular)

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Frontend Developer (Angular) for a project modernizing a digital banking platform and supporting a large-scale transformation of financial services.

The customer is a financial services organization providing banking products and digital solutions for individual and business clients. The company operates through an established service network and online platforms and is part of a larger international financial group, supporting ongoing development of its services for a broad client base.

The project is focused on defining a structured architecture roadmap for a large-scale digital banking transformation program. It includes target-state architecture, platform modernization, API governance, security, data and analytics, system decoupling, and phased migration of business capabilities to reduce system dependencies and accelerate future digital development.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining Angular applications for loan-related user journeys.
• Implementing application forms, validation, task handling, status views, and error scenarios.
• Integrating the frontend with backend REST APIs.
• Implementing authentication and role-based access according to the bank’s IAM standards.
• Working with business analysts and backend developers to clarify requirements and API contracts.
• Writing unit and component tests.
• Participating in code reviews and CI/CD activities.
• Supporting testing, defect resolution, deployment, and solution stabilization.
• Following secure coding, performance, accessibility, and maintainability standards.

Requirements

• Commercial Angular development experience for 4+ years.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, RxJS, Angular Forms, Router, and HTTP Client.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorisation, preferably OAuth 2.0 or OIDC.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS, and responsive design.
• Experience with unit testing and common frontend testing tools.
• Experience with Git-based development and CI/CD processes.
• Understanding of frontend security principles.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional delivery team.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience in banking, fintech, or another transaction-oriented domain.
• Experience with lending, onboarding, or workflow-based applications.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Azure cloud environments.
• Experience working with API gateways such as Azure API Management.
• Familiarity with frontend monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace RUM.
• Experience with enterprise design systems or component libraries.
