Data Analyst

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Data Analyst for a project designing scalable data solutions and delivering reliable analytics to support business reporting and decision-making.

The customer is a technology-driven digital platform that brings together multiple consumer and business services within a unified ecosystem. It focuses on enhancing user experience, improving operational efficiency, and enabling seamless digital interactions through modern technologies, scalable infrastructure, and continuous innovation. The platform supports both individual users and commercial partners while expanding its capabilities to meet evolving market needs.

The project is focused on analyzing business data sources and designing requirements for data marts in a Greenplum-based Data Warehouse. It aims to ensure accurate data modeling, efficient data integration, and reliable analytical solutions to support reporting and business decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and profiling data sources, including structure, quality, completeness, and refresh frequency.
• Gathering requirements from business stakeholders and translating them into technical specifications.
• Designing the logical structure of data marts, including attribute sets, data granularity, and metric calculation rules.
• Creating source-to-data mart mappings and documenting the business logic for data transformations.
• Preparing technical specifications and data mart prototypes (SQL queries in Greenplum, mockups) for Data Engineers.
• Validating development results and reconciling data against source systems.

Requirements

• Experience as a Data Analyst for 3+ years.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, window functions, and working with large datasets.
• Experience with Greenplum, including understanding of its distributed architecture, distribution keys, and partitioning.
• Experience working with Data Warehouses (DWH) and understanding of data modeling principles (Data Vault, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
• Ability to read source system documentation and communicate effectively with data owners.
• Strong technical specification writing skills, with the ability to produce clear and unambiguous documentation.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
