Delivery Lead in the EU

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Delivery Lead in the EU for a project delivering Salesforce solutions and driving effective digital transformation in the energy sector.

The customer is a large organization with complex operations and a strong focus on technology, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability. The organization is investing in digital transformation, cybersecurity, and process improvement to enhance efficiency, resilience, and business performance while supporting its evolving strategic objectives.

The project is focused on delivering new Salesforce solutions for an energy infrastructure company. It covers the full development lifecycle, including stakeholder coordination, delivery governance, resource management, and ensuring high-quality implementation aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leading Salesforce implementation and new application development projects.
• Managing delivery scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
• Coordinating development, testing, deployment, hypercare, and acceptance activities.
• Ensuring adherence to Swissgrid development processes and quality standards.
• Supporting release and deployment planning activities.
• Serving as the primary contact between Swissgrid and the supplier organization.
• Building relationships with Stream Leads, Process Owners, Project Managers, and business stakeholders.
• Conducting regular status meetings and governance reviews.
• Managing escalations and issue resolution.
• Ensuring transparent reporting and communication.
• Ensuring proper staffing and availability of delivery team members.
• Coordinating Architects, Consultants, Developers, and DevOps Engineers.
• Fostering collaboration across business and technical teams.
• Driving accountability and delivery ownership within the team.
• Ensuring compliance with agreed DevOps, configuration, documentation, and development standards.
• Overseeing Definition of Ready and Definition of Done processes.
• Ensuring production readiness and acceptance readiness.
• Supporting Service Review Meetings and milestone reviews.
• Organizing and governing knowledge transfer between supplier and Swissgrid.
• Ensuring proper documentation is delivered.
• Coordinating training activities when new functionality is introduced.
• Maintaining continuity during personnel changes.
• Acting as the main commercial contact for the engagement.
• Participating in Service Review Meetings.
• Supporting effort estimation and delivery planning.
• Participating in contract-related escalations and handovers.

Requirements

• Experience leading complex IT delivery engagements for 4+ years.
• Experience managing distributed cross-functional teams.
• Experience in stakeholder and client management.
• Experience working in Agile project environments.
• Experience with project governance, reporting, and escalation management.
• Experience delivering enterprise software solutions.
• Salesforce implementation or Salesforce development delivery experience.
• Experience in multi-vendor environments.
• Experience managing application development projects exceeding 30 person-days.
• Experience with enterprise clients in regulated industries.
• Required Knowledge of Salesforce; Salesforce Platform; Sales Cloud; Service Cloud; Experience Cloud; Salesforce delivery lifecycle; Release management; Environment management; Agile Accelerator or comparable agile tooling.
• Required Knowledge of DevOps & Engineering; GitHub; CI/CD principles; Salesforce DX concepts; Release and deployment processes; Development governance; Quality assurance processes; Enterprise Ecosystem.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate or above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate or above.

Desired skills

• Experience with Databricks.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA; Microsoft 365; Azure; SharePoint; Enterprise integrations.
