Summary

Andersen is hiring a Healthcare Data Architect for a project designing scalable data architecture and supporting secure AI transformation in the healthcare sector.

The customer is a global consulting and advisory firm that helps organizations improve business performance, navigate complex operational challenges, and support strategic transformation. It provides expertise across business strategy, operational improvement, risk management, and organizational change, working with clients from multiple industries through data-driven insights and multidisciplinary consulting services.

The project is focused on designing a scalable enterprise data architecture to support a large-scale healthcare AI transformation. It includes assessing the existing data landscape, defining future-state data architecture, and developing governance, integration, and modernization roadmaps to enable AI and advanced analytics

Responsibilities

  • Assessing the current-state enterprise data landscape across clinical, financial, and operational systems.
  • Defining the future-state enterprise data architecture supporting AI and analytics initiatives.
  • Developing canonical healthcare data models and enterprise data standards.
  • Recommending scalable cloud data architecture patterns supporting future growth.
  • Designing integration architectures supporting multiple enterprise applications and healthcare platforms.
  • Defining target-state ETL/ELT patterns utilizing Azure Data Factory.
  • Developing healthcare interoperability recommendations leveraging HL7 and FHIR standards.
  • Recommending enterprise semantic models supporting analytics and AI.
  • Developing enterprise data governance recommendations including metadata management, lineage, master data, and data quality.
  • Defining dimensional modeling strategies supporting reporting and AI use cases.
  • Identifying governance controls supporting regulatory compliance and healthcare privacy requirements.
  • Defining data architectures supporting Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and enterprise AI capabilities.
  • Partnering with AI Architects to identify data dependencies and knowledge management strategies.
  • Developing implementation roadmaps supporting AI-ready data environments. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Facilitating architecture workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Producing architecture documentation and executive recommendations.
  • Supporting integrated planning across multiple workstreams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in enterprise data architecture for 8+ years.
  • Extensive healthcare data architecture experience.
  • Advanced SQL expertise.
  • Experience designing enterprise ETL architectures.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong understanding of HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards.
  • Experience developing enterprise data governance frameworks.
  • Expertise in dimensional modeling.
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.
